Andrew Bones, Durham Branch Manager - leaves for Perth, Australia this week! It's been a dream move for Andrew and his family for many years - and now it's finally happening.
About Andrew
Andrew has had a long career with Croxdale Fast Fit.
It started in 1999 when he began as an apprentice to MD David Urwin during the early period of growth of the company at our Chester Le Street branch, where he remained until 2001.
He then progressed to Technician at our Gateshead branch from 2001-2003, then back to Chester Le Street 2003 to April 2014.
A promotion to Assistant Manager of Durham Branch was awarded in August 2015.
A further promotion to Manager of Durham Branch was made when previous Branch Manager Phil Harrison retired in May 2021.
Andrew really has worked his way up the ranks of the company - we are very sorry to see him go - but we can't compete with his long-term family dream of a move to Australia!
Andrew celebrated with friends and colleagues recently - a few sore heads the next day but a worthy farewell night out!
We of course wish Andrew and his family the very very best for the future and thank him for his years of excellent service to our company and customers.
